The Hotel Marcantonio Rome is easily accessible even for the inexperienced
traveler. Hotel Marcantonio is just a short walk from Termini
Rail Station, the largest station in all of Italy, which
also provides access to both metro lines and to hundreds of bus
lines connecting you throughout the city.
The Colosseum is about 10 minutes on foot down Via Cavour. In the
same area you’ll find some of Rome’s more interesting
nightlife, including a cluster of Irish bars. However, for dinner
we’d recommend you head in the other direction to the student
and typically Roman district of San Lorenzo, where you’ll
find authentic cuisine and low priced, informal trattorias
the likes of which the average tourist never sees.
Hotel Marcantonio is also within walking distance of the famous
Piazza della Repubblica. For those seeking
art, the Marcantonio Bed & Breakfast Rome is close to Il
Complesso del Vittoriano, Palazzo delle
Esposizioni and Le Scuderie del Quirinale;
while for the shoppers’ palate the famous streets Via
Nazionale and Via Cavour
are also only a few steps away.
