From June 2 to August 30 at the Scuderie del Quirinale the great exhibition dedicated to Raffaello Sanzio, painter and architect, who died in Rome on his birthday at the age of 37, on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of his death. Extended by the organizers’ wishes, the priceless exhibition for the quality and quantity of works, displays 204 paintings, more than half of which were made by Raphael, including the wonderful portrait of his friend Baldassarre Castiglione. The exhibition has an original exhibition starting with the presentation of the works backwards reversing the usual birth-maturity-old age narrative. An original way to highlight the universal artistic value of one of the geniuses of the Italian and international Renaissance even more. The Quirinale stables are in Via XXIV Maggio, 16 near the Palazzo del Quirinale, residence of the President of the Republic.
